這次旅行本來想玩到Mount St. Helens National Park，貪心的我反覆思考著行程，最後還是以全家能玩得開心和安全為目標，訂下了只在加州和奧勒岡州即可。將行程拉的太遠，除了開車的人辛苦之外，為了趕行程很容易開快車或是夜晚行駛，為了將來還是能開心全家旅遊，就每次只玩一些，千萬不要因為貪玩而出問題。
既然主要的大菜是三個國家公園（Lassen Volcanic、Crater Lake、Red Wood），那其他的小菜就要適當的排在路線之中。
我是在Every Trail中查找Oregon（奧勒岡州）有哪些五星級的Trail。當然Oregon有好多很棒的Trail，但先去除掉困難級的（Difficult）和須要走上一整天的（或以上）Trail，剩下的就是是否在我規畫的旅遊路線中了。（當然有時為了想一親芳澤，即使繞一點路過去也是值得）
因為太喜歡野花，而2012年秋天的旅遊沒看到什麼野花讓我十分失望，所以這次就特別選定了幾個能賞花的Trail。Canyon Creek Meadows這條Trail就這麼出線，而這也是為什麼我要特意繞來Sisters的原因了！
This very popular loop route takes you on a tour of a high alpine meadow, with bubbling Canyon Creek flowing through it. In addition, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the jagged spires of Three Fingered Jack, the eroded core of an extinct 100,000-year-old volcano.
This is a really beautiful hike with so many points of interest. From wildflower meadows, to the grassy hill up to Three Fingered Jack, to the glacial pool, to the saddle with views of the Sisters, Washington, Jefferson and of course Three Fingered Jack right next to you.
Many of the trees along the route were burned in 2003 during the B&B Complex Fires. Thankfully Canyon Creek Meadows itself was spared and still very beautiful.

要走這條Trail還挺麻煩的，因為從HWY 20右轉之後，就開始在山路中緩慢且小心的行駛。每個需要留意的Forest Road路標絕對不容錯過，也還好GPS在此時發揮了極大的功效（當然我事前也仔細手繪了地圖）。
在沒鋪柏油的山間小道颠簸前行，車後是飛揚的塵土，還好此時沒有下山的車輛須要會車，我們終於來到了Trailhead—Jack Lake！
下車填寫資料並將五美金放入信封中一併投入信箱，就完成了入山登記和繳費（沒人管，全是榮譽制的）。停車場上已經有十多輛車了（很難想像這麼深入的山裡會有這麼多人來此），顧不得Jack Lake就在身邊，我們趕緊出發，免得美景被看光了（哈哈！）
資料說的沒錯，才一開始走，我就被沿路的野花給吸引住目光，也因此放慢了腳步（忙著照相）！
