我開車有個缺點, 坐在身旁的老公只會睡覺根本不幫忙看GPS和地圖,因為這樣導致我竟然走錯路,在某個岔路口聽信導航的指示轉進鄉間小道,多花了許多時間在山裡繞呀繞,最後甚至還遇到將整個路擋住的障礙柵欄, 想想這也算是奇遇!
我憑著印象查看地圖,發現我當時應該是開到了Smith Station Road,如果時間很多的遊客,這條路還蠻漂亮的,野花也很多,是我這趟旅行看到最多也花的地方,終於不會遺憾了!

整車的人都在睡覺,我就慢慢開,看到野花叢就靠路邊停車下來照相,我的老花眼已經看不清類單眼相機的螢幕,是否對好焦距也無法確認,老了唯一覺得可惜之處在此.

我現在人在台灣,身邊沒有野花圖鑑,這2019旅行的最後一篇文章,就先簡單將照片放上上傳發表,等新年過後在回大陸時補足.

2018 Yosemite National Park — 5/28 Tioga Road（十）

午餐時間已過,飢腸轆轆的我們開始找尋野餐的位置.

以前說過,許多次旅遊只因為找不到合適的午餐地點,老公會臭臉,我則因此火大吵架.現在年紀大了,沒力氣吵架,只好盡量體諒老公幫忙找個風景優美有山有水的地方吃午餐(他還真是囉說呀!)

開了一陣子,看到有個野餐區在路的右側我們開心地駛入!

食物不是重點,匆匆吃完三明治,我們就溜到旁邊的小溪流玩水.

溪水清澈冰涼,坐在樹幹上欣賞溪水,幾乎忘了時光的流逝!

查看地圖才知這條小溪流是Yosemite Creek.

這種悠閒享受的感動,一輩子忘不了!

沒多久就要出國家公園了,接下來要換我開車了!

2018 Yosemite National Park — 5/28 Tioga Road （九）Olmsted Point

接下來道路一路上爬, 沿路是花崗岩山坡

先從停車場往下看

哈,這塊大石頭吸引了我們的目光,從那裡飛來的呀?

Olmstead Point is a viewing area off Tioga Pass Road in Yosemite National Park which offers a view south into Tenaya Canyon, giving, in particular, a view of the northern side of Half Dome, Clouds Rest, and a view of Tenaya Lake to the east.
Olmstead Point是優勝美地國家公園蒂奧加山口（Tioga Pass Road）旁的觀景點，可欣賞到南面的特納亞峽谷（Tenaya Canyon），特別是可欣賞到半圓丘（Half Dome）的北側，雲間休息（Clouds Rest）和東側的特納亞湖（Tenaya Lake）

The granite slopes south and southwest of the parking lot feature numerous glacial erratics scattered about, as well as a short 0.125mi (0.2km) trail leading south - through a small grove of trees - to the top of a small granite dome where the view of Clouds Rest and Half Dome is clearest.

這宏偉的Half Dome應該只能在夢裡相遇了, 我們這把年紀膽子又小, 應該沒有機會親身體驗爬上它的喜悅和榮耀了!

The iconic granite Half Dome is visible in many areas of the park, but pull over at the Olmsted Point parking area and you'll see a different view. With a pair of binoculars, you can often see a line of hikers like ants, climbing up cable to the top of Half Dome. To the left is the northwest face of Cloud's Rest at 9,926 feet above sea level. Its face drops nearly 5000 feet to lower Tenaya Creek.

2018這一年, 我一下子胖了七八公斤, 照片裡看起來真是慘不忍睹!

兒子的膽子大多了, 一個人咻咻咻地就往上爬

真正的走上去才知道其實不會滑, 我們穿的這登山鞋提供很好的抓地和摩擦力, 一點都不需要擔心滑倒

有兒子還真不錯, 貼心的牽著我, 此時老公還真無用, 只顧自己玩!

想到孩子小時候, 是我們這樣牽著護著拉拔長大, 沒想到轉眼間換成他們心疼父母照顧我們了!

印象中國家公園內是禁止玩遙控飛機的

老公還真像個老頑童

辛苦忙碌一年, 這短短二個星期的休假是唯一能充分享受大自然的機會

其實Olmsted Point停車場的另一側也有十分高大的山坡, 記得2014年來此地看到許多遊客是在爬這對面的山坡. 

Don't get back in your car quite yet. Olmstead Point has one of the shortest hiking trails in the park at 0.2 miles. It opens up to spectacular views of Tenaya Peak, Tenaya Lake, and Mount Conness. As if by design, a boulder sits plunk in the middle of the flat, offering a place to lounge and soak in the view.
